In its years of productive and fruitful activity, Stauros USA has undertaken some programs and projects of which it is justly proud.  Conferences were held to explore issues related to human suffering (Understanding how disabilities challenge the whole society; learning about the role of suicide among young adults; dramatic productions and musical concerts that would give talented artists a voice in helping to heal the lesions in human society).

Stauros is especially proud of the journey/pilgrimages it organized for persons with disabilities to visit the "Holy Land", the places where the Bible came to life.

The Stauros website was conceived as a place where the voice of Stauros could be heard at the time and place convenient and accessible to the visitor.  Stauros regularly published a printed "Notebook"/Newsletter; this was later expanded to include an on-line version, and an audio CD version.  All three could be accessed at the Stauros website; postal delivery of the printed and CD media could be made to the person's home, if he or she wished.

Although Stauros has suspended its corporate activity for the time being, pending funding and re-organization, its library of articles published in the Stauros "Notebook", and its sound files from the production of the audio CD's, are still valuable companions for those who work in the fields of solidarity with human suffering.
